Warm tender apples encased in gooey maple and cinnamony sweetness, finished with a buttery, crispy oat topping make this Vegan Apple Crisp a must-have dessert for the holiday season! FOR THE FILLING

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. 
  • Peel, core and cube the apples. Add the apple pieces to a large mixing bowl. 
  • Add lemon, lemon zest, maple syrup, coconut sugar, oat flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Use your hands to combine ingredients until they are well incorporated.
  • Pour apple mixture into a 13" x 9" baking dish. Spread so that apples are evenly distributed.

FOR THE TOPPING

  • Add oats, oat flour, coconut sugar, cinnamon, salt and vegan butter to a mixing bowl. Use your hands to combine ingredients together until well incorporated.
  • Sprinkle topping evenly over the apple mixture.
  • Place the baking dish in the oven on the center rack and bake for 50-60 minutes until fruit is bubbling and topping has browned.
  • Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
