Avocado Toast - 4 Ways [with Gluten-Free Option]

Because you can't have enough avocado toast, here are 4 ways to make it, all vegan and gluten-free! An easy-to-make breakfast or lunch!

Ingredients

FOR ALL 4 AVOCADO TOAST VARIATIONS

  • 1 slice gluten-free, vegan bread
  • 1/2 avocado

FOR THE BUFFALO CHICKPEA AVOCADO TOAST

FOR THE AVOCADO TOAST WITH ARUGULA AND PINE NUTS

FOR THE AVOCADO TOAST WITH SUN-DRIED TOMATOES

Instructions

FOR ALL 4 AVOCADO TOAST VARIATIONS

  • Toast bread to your liking.
  • Mash 1/2 of an avocado with a fork in a small bowl. Carefully spread the mashed avocado onto the piece of toast.
  • Add your toppings from one of the following:

FOR THE BASIC AVOCADO TOAST

  • Sprinkle sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste onto the avocado topped toast. Sprinkle on crushed red pepper flakes. Drizzle on extra virgin olive oil to taste.

FOR THE BUFFALO CHICKPEA AVOCADO TOAST

  • Add air fryer Buffalo chickpeas or oven-roasted chickpeas to the avocado topped toast. Drizzle on some vegan Buffalo sauce. Sprinkle on sea salt to taste.

FOR THE AVOCADO TOAST WITH ARUGULA AND PINE NUTS

  • Add arugula and pine nuts to the avocado topped toast. Sprinkle on salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Drizzle on extra virgin olive oil to taste.

FOR THE AVOCADO TOAST WITH SUN-DRIED TOMATOES

  • Sprinkle sea salt to taste onto the avocado topped toast. Add sun-dried tomatoes. Drizzle on garlic-infused olive oil.
